Critical Thinking
Situation: I completed a personal assessment screencast assignment. This assignment allowed me to take an inventory, by reading what was requested in the course material, Career Directions. I inferred information regarding values, interests and hobbies, my 21st century skills inventory. As well as skills I need to develop to be successful in my career in the 21st century.
Task: To successfully complete this task, I set aside time during my days off of work or breaks during my work hours to read required material, beginning with the first Module: Who am I? I read the introduction and reflecting on the question. Then I reflect on my career, who am I with my career? I am usually the person on the other end of the line after a person chooses to speak to someone on the automated system. I inferred the practice of presence during the assignment using quite time to identify what would be used to highlight my qualities, by analyzing the list of choices in Activity 2.1, in the Career Directions book.

Action: There are 22 values that are listed in this activity, I argue are extremely close in importance. I had to begin with respect, because without respect the other 21 values could not cooperate together. Diversity was my second choice, in argument with so many of the other values that are listed in this assignment, we all need to respect everyone's uniqueness in which God created, to establish an effective working environment. The third value was making a difference, because by incorporating my first 2 choices of values, we all can make a difference for greatness.
Activity 2.2, was a simple inventory for me to take. I retrieved the One Note tool, to use my writing and organization skills. Analyzing activity 2.5, incorporated what level of skills that I currently have in the 21st century. I took the assessment by notating on separate One Note. Helping to organize my thoughts, even though my lists were not completely organized at this point.
Incorporating my 21st century skills inventory I need developing, seemed to be a higher task for me. I exercised my sound reasoning and analytical thinking to solve the creation of functional skills, I am needing to develop or work more on to enhance my career. Again, I took my One Note and utilized my critical thinking skills to insure I listed the skills that reflected what I bring to the workplace, also what skills are in need to grow in to be more value for my career.

Result: My actions by completing the assessments in the Career Directions book. I was able to design a well-organized viewing of what is important to me, in regard to the person that I am. I watched the YouTube material that was included in the module to assist me in how to create a screencast. Once my PowerPoint was edited, I went to the Studio task area and uploaded my PowerPoint to start my screencast, and to record my 4 minutes, describing my work. By completing task, in the rubrics this concluded in the analysis of who I am.
